Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox attended her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London during the 1970s. She took a course in harpsichord and flautist piano over 3 years. The money she earned came from a student allowance and took on part-time employment to augment her funds. Lennox wasn't satisfied with the level of her abilities compared to other students at the Royal Academy and began looking at other options. Lennox played flute in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. However, she left shortly before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent show. The singer was the primary vocalist of The Tourists a British pop band from 1977 to 1980. There she made friends with Dave Stewart who would later form Eurythmics. Lennox worked on her solo first album Diva. It came out in 1993. The album garnered a lot of praise, both from the press and critics. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album was Released in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox selected her favorites blues soul tracks from her childhood. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four songs that were improvised by piano that Lennox released in May, 2019. The E.P. Her first solo album in conjunction with her work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled "Now I Let You go." Annie Lennox is a Scottish singer and songwriter who was born on December 25th 1954. The Tourists had a minor success in the late 1970s. Lennox, along with Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, proceeded to become famous internationally in the 1990s when they formed the Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo career with her debut album Diva in the year 1992. The album was the inspiration of several hit songs, including Why andWalking in Broken Glass. Medusa, her 1995 album studio features covers of No MoreI Love Yous as well as The Whiter Shade of Pale. Her solo albums include six studio and compilation albums.
