Maureen Denise McCormick was born on August 5 1956 in Woodland Hills California the youngest and sole daughter of Richard and Irene McCormick. She was the home of her mother as a mother. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three older brothers. McCormick started dancing and singing from a young age, and frequently performed plays with puppets for the children from her neighborhood. Her rise to fame as a fairytale began when she was crowned her first Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest in the age group of six, which prompted an inquiry from talent agent Pat Domigan of the Jack Wormser Agency who asked if she would like to enter the show industry. Her first major role came in 1964 which was when she appeared in a television commercial featuring Mattels new Baby Pattaburp doll. In the following year, she appeared as Chatty Cathy in a commercial which was later adapted for the show Wind It Up And It's Breaks by the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was selected out of a crowd of over 1500 children who had auditioned to be the youngest of three towheaded daughters in the upcoming TV show The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed as newlyweds with an unintended family. The show ran for five seasons. McCormick disclosed in Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published 2008) that McCormick almost lost her virginity with Barry Williams during the five-year duration on the program. In 2008, she revealed in her book Heres the Truth: surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice that during season five of the show, she was close to losing her virginity to actor Barry Williams. The incident could have occurred, she told me, but the timing was never right for us.
